Page to replace Schmidt as Google CEO →
Schmidt is basically being forced to retire it looks like. Time for the young bucks to start leading the company they founded. I think this is a good move for Google.
Or, Schmidt is mad because he was really pysch’d for Google’s Chrome OS and he just found out that Android is going to kill it.

– - Tim Cook, Acting Apple CEO, January 2009 FQ1 2009 Earnings Call (via asymco)
This is also how I feel about Apple. Even without Steve Jobs they are going to do great. I wish I had all of the above attributes in my work.
We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are...

What differentiates iOS
Confidence. Anyone can use iOS and feel confident. In a matter of seconds they can launch applications, create art, browse the web, write emails, and play games. This is why the iPhone is so successful - you really can’t screw up anything. Compare that to the PC industry. PCs (I’ll include Macs) are confusing for most users. Confusion creates self doubt and then fear, fear that...

Verizon iPhone Prediction
If there is any feature that will be enabled by Apple to make the Verizon iPhone special it would be 3G Facetime. That also makes sense with Verizon’s unlimited (sorta) data plans.

RIMs Playbook thinks the normal web is better for... →
Probably because it will launch without many apps. Oh, and they are wrong, very wrong. Especially on a 7” screen.
The whole video is like one big Adobe ad. It is really sad that RIM is hitching its destiny (and platform) Adobe.
Now one of the benefits of our implementation is that you don’t have to leave the browsing environment to play the game on Facebook.
Watching that guy play...
Honeycomb (Android 3.0) furthers platform... →
Apparently Android 3 will require a dual core processor which essentially leaves every smart phone every purchased stuck with (at best) Android 2.3. Of course, most Android phones are lucky to receive any updates at all so not receiving the OS 3.0 update shouldn’t surprise Android phone owners, it just sucks.
People think Apple is evil for controlling the software and hardware integration...
